ThotSEO is an SEO semantic optimisation tool mainly for the french market. To sum up, I created ThotSEO 1 year ago and now the tool is running well, acquisition is happening quite naturally by word of mouth of the users and notorious SEO teachers / influencers. --- What the SAAS do? 🤖 ThotSEO is a semantic optimization tool designed to boost website traffic and improve search engine rankings. With a user-friendly interface (not my say) it provides content creators and SEO professionals with essential keywords ranked by importance, helping to craft highly optimized content. The platform offers features such as internal linking suggestions and cannibalization monitoring, AI integration, content ideas, competitors analysis... Users praise its simplicity, costs relatively low compare to others, effectiveness, and time-saving capabilities. Why do I sell? I've pretty much covered all the missions that interest me most and would like to focus on other early projects. --- Main KPIs 📈 There are just over 200 active paying customers + all the credit pack buyers and I spend about 1 day a week managing them. In terms of the metrics you're probably most interested in, we're at 11k turnover per month over the last 90 days for a margin of around 10k. 👉Current MRR : €10.1k 👉Current ARR : €121.1k 👉Current subscriber count : 233 👉Customer Lifetime Value : €370 👉Customer Churn Rate : 14.49% 👉Net MRR Churn Rate : 10% Servers and running the business costs between 4-5k€ per year (servers and scrapping saas) I have a choice between letting it run and progressing slowly and developing new options when I feel like it or finding a new family for it so I can concentrate on other projects. I don't really have a deadline so I'm sounding out those who seem serious about building an SEO tool portfolio. --- Acquisition channels and growing opportunities 🧲 There are opportunities in building out the marketing channels because most of the users come from word of mouth and linkedin posts. Besides, more and more influencers are affiliates (so far only one asked for paiement) but there a a bunch of them who just do it because they are users. I also produced a full SEO course for a famous french learning center and new users come from this source every month.
