AI Starter was built as an Enabler for Founders and Entrepreneurs to kickstart their startup journey - while reducing the initial capital risk, time and cost of initial development, by providing a low/no-code solution for users to deploy to their server out of the box. I got inspired to build it in Dec '22 when my first venture, an AI Writer SaaS - CopyScouts (launched Oct '22) was acquired by Co-Founder of BigCommerce - Eddie Machaalani. I wanted to lower the barrier to entry for aspiring entrepreneurs who have brilliant and creative ideas but otherwise lack the resources, knowledge, or are just fearful to start. AI Starter will heavily reduce their capital intensive initial development, eliminate investor risk by prolonging the runway and allowing more focus to be channeled to defining the product and use case. Our current MVP that has made > $3000 in revenue is in the form of a pre-built codebase on Laravel CSS that features an on-site, low-code environment for API switching, a CMS, dashboard and payment gateway, so even non-technical founders can use it with ease. We call it an AI "Biz-in-a-Box", and are developing its v2 iteration that offers a 100% no-code SaaS solution, hosting, and modular Generative AI builder - Mockups & Prototypes are ready handy. After building a waitlist of 130+ supporters for prelaunch, and subsequently launching on the 8th April 2023 on ProductHunt, AI Starter emerged #2 Top Product of the day with huge community support, and have since gotten requests for Podcast and Live show interviews, 2 acquisition offers, and an interested exclusive distributor for the US region.
